As a pleasant fragrance, acetoin is widely used in the food industry.In addition, as a platform compound developed by the U.S. Department of Energy, it is also widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical and other fields.Acetoin is one of the main raw materials for the production of intermediate DMDO-CL compounds.The compound can be used as raw material to synthesize benzathillin for the treatment of respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue infections. The compound are also the main raw materials for the production of olmesartan intermediates.The main raw material of the new synthesis method is acetoin.
